Lisa Paton-Smith
Lisa finished her MSc Physiotherapy (pre-registration) degree from King's College London after initially completing her BSc (hons) Sports Therapy degree from the University of Hertfordshire. As part of her Sports Therapy degree she had the opportunity to complete a placement year in a Sports Injury Clinic in Sydney, Australia as well as working with a professional basketball team in New Zealand for the NZNBL 2010 season.
Following this she has worked as a Physiotherapist and Sports Therapist within numerous sports such as football, rugby union, rugby league and basketball ranging from professional to semi-professional clubs. Lisa also gained invaluable experience working for the Australian Women's rugby world cup team - 'the Wallaroo's' for the 2010 IRB Rugby World Cup. As well as working for the Physio Academy Lisa also works as a physiotherapist for a sports specialist college, with previous roles including West Ham Ladies/academy and London Pulse netball team.
