Charlotte Belford

Clinic Director Southend / Expert Physiotherapist

Charlotte has a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy which she gained from The University of East London. She also has a Sports Medicine masters degree from University of Wales Institute, Cardiff achieving a distinction in 2014. Charlotte advanced her clinical skills further by gaining a postgraduate certificate in manual therapy, through Manual Concepts and Curtin University in Australia. Charlotte is currently an extended scope practitioner at Broomfield Hospital where she works closely with a number of orthopaedic consultants. She has extensive private practice experience and is current Lead Physiotherapist to the Football Association of Wales Women's Team. Previously she worked for nine years in professional football with West Ham United. Charlotte has a special interest in hip and knee injuries.
