Southend Physiotherapy Clinic

The Southend clinic is based at David Lloyd Gym, Southend. There is free parking available and on entrance to the gym, please report to the main reception to gain access to the clinic which is based upstairs next to the tennis courts.

How to find our Southend Clinic

On arrival at the clinic, please inform the reception staff of your name and appointment time. After arrival you will be given a personal details form to complete. In order to fully assess your problem it is beneficial to bring appropriate clothing for the appointment. For a Neck, Shoulder or Mid-spine problem; ladies should wear a sports bra/vest top. For lower spine, Hip, Knee or Ankle problems; shorts should be worn. There is a changing facility at both clinics.

Once ready for your appointment your Physiotherapist will then greet you and discuss your problem. As part of the assessment, your prognosis will be discussed and if physiotherapy would be of benefit to you. If further treatment is recommended, a follow up treatment session can be booked with the reception staff. If self-funding treatment or paying an excess through your insurance company, payment is taken by cash or cheque at the Southend Clinic. At the Chelmsford Clinic, payment by card is also accepted.

Bupa/Axa/Aviva/Prudential/Cigna and all other insurance companies are welcome.

Both clinics operate a 24 hour cancellation policy. Failure to give 24 hours notice of a cancelled appointment or a missed appointment may result in a full charge.
